The Falcons face the Seahawks this weekend. Julio Jones had a big game against that respected secondary in the earlier meeting, catching 7 balls for 139 yards and a touchdown. I wondered how other top receivers had fared against Seattle this season.
I took a look at how opposing No. 1s had done in every other game versus Seattle this year. I left out the 49ers games -- not really sure who their No. 1 wideout is; they really don't have one.
Those 14 opposing No. 1s combined for 7 TDs and had nine games with at least 5 catches, six games with at least 89 yards. Only three guys really flopped: Kelvin Benjamin (who had a lot of lousy games for Carolina) and Kenny Britt and Larry Fitzgerald (and both guys also had a good game against this defense).
So I'm not too worried about Jones; I think he'll do fine in this matchup.
