Lost in the Andrew Luck storyline is the fact that the Colts might have the league's worst defense right now. They're currently 26th against the run, 31st against the pass, 31st in yards allowed and 32nd in points. They're in Cincinnati this week, and I'm planning to start a Bengal or two.
First there's Joe Mixon. The Colts played the run well earlier in the year, but have now allowed 100-yard games in back-to-back weeks to Derrick Henry and T.J. Yeldon, plus 2 rushing scores in each game. And quarterbacks and wide receivers have put up good numbers against this defense all along, so A.J. Green is a given and Andy Dalton might be a viable bye-week fill-in.
Quarterbacks and leading wideouts against the Colts this season are shown below.
