Bengals RB Mixon found not guilty in menacing trial

Cincinnati Bengals running back JOE MIXON was found not guilty of aggravated menacing by a Municipal Court judge on Thursday. The Bengals organization issued a statement that said, in part, thatMore the team “is pleased that this matter is now behind everyone, and we look forward to an exciting season with Joe being an important part of the football team.” Mixon is not expected to face any sort of suspension from the NFL. As his legal issues continue, Mixon was seen this week at theMore start of the Bengals’ offseason workouts. Mixon did not answer questions, but he did say that he was happy to be with the Bengals for another season. Mixon, a former second-round pick, has spent his entire six-year career with the Bengals. Cincinnati Bengals executive Katie Blackburn said late last week that running back JOE MIXON is part of the team “right now”, before adding that his status could change “down the road”.More Mixon’s future is cloudy, due in part to his lofty price tag but also partly because of a couple of alleged off-field incidents in recent months. Mixon charges dropped…for now

A local judge dismissed a warrant late last week for Cincinnati Bengals running back JOE MIXON, after Mixon was alleged to have threatened a woman with a gun during a roadMore rage incident late last month. The judge said he signed off on the dismissal but said the charge “could possibly” be refiled. An investigation appears to be ongoing, with Mixon’s situation worth monitoring in the weeks ahead.
