Cincinnati Bengals quarterback JOE BURROW returned to practice on Thursday as he works his way through a finger issue. Wide receiver TEE HIGGINS joined Burrow on the practice field as heMore recovers from an ankle issue. Starting running back JOE MIXON, meanwhile, remained out of action due to an illness. Bengals RB Mixon more “day-to-day” than “week-to-week”

Cincinnati running back JOE MIXON suffered what was initially reported as a low-grade ankle sprain that would leave his status as “week-to-week”. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said on Monday thatMore his veteran running back is actually “day-to-day”, which is obviously better for fantasy owners (and Mixon) than original reports. Taylor added that it would not be surprising for Mixon to start the week limited in practice, adding that his star running back will do everything possible to put himself in a position to play this weekend. Fantasy News: Thursday night recap

It’s not quite the Lions or Cowboys hosting games on Thanksgiving, but the tradition seems to be for Cincinnati to host an early-season undercard-type game in Prime Time. Sneak it in there early, I think, while viewers are willing to watch any game that has a ball with “NFL” stamped on the side. Bengals have perfect attendance at OTAs

The Cincinnati Bengals had full attendance at the team’s initial OTA session earlier this week, including participation from quarterback JOE BURROW and running back JOE MIXON. Around the NFL: Bengals running backs

Toward the end of one of the Experts competitions last week, one participant accidentally had Adrian Peterson autodrafted for him. He asked me to switch that to Samaje Perine, which briefly gave me pause; I had to search my memory for where Perine was employed. He's in Cincinnati, and with Giovani Bernard gone, he looks like Joe Mixon's main backup. Not a bad last-round flier.   more »
