Minnesota expects to be without WR STEFON DIGGS (ribs) when the Vikings host Detroit this afternoon. Diggs's injury isn't believed to be overly serious, but the team has its bye next week and can thus give him two full weeks to recover by holding him out. That said, we sort of expected the Vikes to give those (additional) two weeks of recovery to RB DALVIN COOK, too, but as of mid-morning it appeared that Cook would suit up for limited action. Cook hasn't played since aggravating his hamstring injury back in September.
