The early inactives are rolling in and no major surprises. With most, it's more a case of wondering why teams tried to put any mystery into some of the proceedings. A.J. Green was never going to play; why list him as doubtful? Hard to believe there is really much of a gamesmanship advantage there.
A.J. Green is inactive, but John Ross is active. Ross should join Tyler Boyd as the main wideouts against the Ravens.
Same game, Joe Flacco (hip) is inactive, as expected. Lamar Jackson will draw the start, although there's some speculation that Robert Griffin III will also get some snaps (but Jackson looks pretty solid as the main quarterback, by all accounts).
It was known that Marvin Jones (knee) would be out, but Brandon Powell is also inactive. That's a plus for those hoping to use TJ Jones. Detroit's main wideouts should be Kenny Golladay, TJ Jones and Bruce Ellington.
Keke Coutee is active for Houston, at Washington; he should be the team's slot receiver.
Chris Godwin is active for the Bucs, hurting the potential appeal of the team's other receivers; fewer targets to go around for Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and Adam Humphries.
Giorgio Tavecchio is officially inactive and probably headed for the waiver wire, as long as Matt Bryant is able to kick normally this week without any setbacks.
Ronald Jones is inactive for the Bucs. Nobody was probably planning on using Jones, but it's now safer to use Peyton Barber as the main runner and Jacquizz Rodgers as the passing down back.
