Shocker: Mark Sanchez is out of a job

If you thought Washington was done shuffling its quarterbacks after turning to veteran punchline MARK SANCHEZ in the wake of Colt McCoy's broken leg, you are a spectacular optimist -- so we kind of hate to break the following to you, but you were also spectacularly wrong. Sanchez was comically ineffective on Sunday, finishing 6-of-14 for 38 yards with 2 interceptions before his latest stint as an NFL starter came to a merciful end when coach Jay Gruden benched him in favor of JOSH JOHNSON. Johnson did enough in relief (11-of-16 for 195 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 interception) to earn a starting nod next week, but given that he hadn't attempted a pass in a regular season game since 2011 -- and that this same team has already had McCoy and Sanchez start games for it in 2018 -- one wonders who could possibly be next if Johnson were to falter. Jay Cutler? Joey Harrington?
