The eight playoff teams have submitted their injury reports for this weekend’s games, and for the most part they look pretty healthy. No difference-maker type players should be sidelined for any of these games.
Chicago had issues with its wide receivers. Allen Robinson didn’t play in Week 17, while Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller were knocked out of that game. But all of those guys look fine. Eddie Jackson is one of the key players on Chicago’s defense, and he should also play. He’s been sidelined with an ankle injury but was a limited participant in practice the last two days. Jackson is questionable.
The Texans are calling Keke Coutee (hamstring) questionable. He missed the last five games. But it’s a little different this week. For over a month, he’s been a limited participant in practice. This week, he participated fully all week. I think he’ll play, and I think he’ll be Houston’s 2nd-best receiver. Coutee, I think, would be my top sleeper-type player for the weekend. If he’s right physically, he could make a nice impact; he caught 11 passes against Indianapolis back in Week 4.
T.Y. Hilton (ankle) is questionable and didn’t practice at all during the week, but nobody has any concerns about him not playing. He says he’s definitely playing, and Hilton has played with no apparent issues in recent weeks without practicing. The Colts list three other receivers. Ryan Grant (toe) is out. Zach Pascal (knee) and Dontrelle Inman (shoulder) are questionable, but they should be fine.
The Seahawks and Cowboys look pretty much healthy. For fantasy purposes, no injuries that move the needle.
The Chargers might go without backup running Austin Ekeler (groin); he’s questionable. If they don’t feel he’s right physically, they’ll plug Justin Jackson into the No. 2 running back role behind Melvin Gordon.
The Ravens call starting guard Alex Lewis (shoulder) questionable.
The Eagles have ruled out Carson Wentz (back), but that was a formality. They have also ruled out a trio of lesser players: LB D.J. Alexander, CB Sidney Jones and WR Mike Wallace.
