Zack Moss picked up a toe injury in Buffalo's Week 2 game. He didn't practice at all last week before being ruled out on Friday. Guy has a toe injury, you tend to think of turf toe and a multi-week injury. Sterling Shepard, as a for instance, went on IR.

But Moss returned to practice today; we'll wait for the injury report to see if he got in a limited or full practice. That puts him on track to play in Las Vegas against the Raiders on Sunday.

The other element to that is that Devin Singletary will slide back into more of a one-two punch committee. Last week, with Moss out, Singletary played all but 7 snaps against the Rams. As a full-time player, he racked up 121 total yards. Looked like a possible top-10 back this week.

But if Moss is practicing fully by Friday and on track to play, Singletary's workload takes a hit. In Week 1 and 2, it was about a 55-45 split in favor of Singletary. The second-year back averaged 65 total yards; a little more than half as much. Significant difference.

The Friday update will have the final answer on those two backs' status, but be careful about locking Singletary in your lineup before finding out if he'll be losing a handful of carries to T.J. Yeldon, or maybe 40-45 percent to Moss.
