Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own brief take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer lineup questions, too.

What follows is a brief look at all the games with how I'd react in my own lineups to injury developments or other news. The official rankings are the ones in the Weekly. Those take precedence. But sometimes players are very close, and in those cases I'm glad to offer opinions on how I'd approach those situations. Sometimes I like certain players more or less than Ian, and sometimes I have different risk tolerance with injuries etc.

Ravens at Football Team: I made this one of my two Survivor picks this week. I'm a believer in good teams bouncing back from tough/embarrassing losses, as with New England rubbing out the Raiders after the Seattle loss. I don't like road teams but 2020 is different and this is barely even a road game for Baltimore. I respect Washington's defense but don't see their offense doing much against Baltimore. Terry McLaurin with a thigh injury he apparently picked up in practice. Didn't practice on Friday. I have him in a few leagues and in desperation picked up Dontrelle Inman. I'll be checking the inactives tomorrow and using McLaurin if active and plugging in Inman if not (would like to have a better option but with injuries/postponements etc., Inman is the only viable fall-back). I don't love the guy, but he'll have to be the No. 1 and see lots of targets.

Chargers at Bucs: Love the Bucs defense (here, and going forward actually). Not to say there won't be some decent passing production from the Chargers (Allen, Ekeler, Henry) but I think Herbert will absorb some sacks/turnovers. No Mike Williams. No Godwin, you knew that, and no Leonard Fournette, making Ronald Jones a fine option if you've got him.

Seahawks at Dolphins: Chris Carson is apparently good to go, a relief in a nice matchup. Key Seattle passing game and key Dolphins look good. I think I'm chancing Preston Williams somewhere, it's a rough week for injuries. Both defenses giving up plenty of production. On the eve of the season I almost picked up Myles Gaskin in dynasty. Instead I opted for Patriots runner J.J. Taylor. Annoying.

Vikings at Texans: Neither team playing particularly good defense. Will Fuller off the injury report, so he's good to go. David Johnson in a nice spot for a bounce-back game. I'm not sure I really want to start Justin Jefferson just yet but the matchup looks fine.

Saints at Lions: I recall thinking the Lions might spring the upset. Saints aren't quite as good on the road, their defense hasn't been tough (they're especially banged-up in the secondary), no Michael Thomas again. Difficult to get behind Matt Patricia's crew, but it seems possible. I like the key members of Detroit's passing game, would steer totally clear of the running back committee. Gambling on TreQuan Smith or Emmanuel Sanders is risky. One will do well, most likely, and one won't. No Jared Cook either.

Browns at Cowboys: Kareem Hunt (groin) will probably play, but seems a little riskier than usual. He did practice on Friday, but if I had a comparable option I'd strongly consider avoiding the situation. Dallas offense looks fine. Browns should need to pass more than usual, I think, so if I had Beckham anywhere I'd take the chance.

Jaguars at Bengals: So excited about Stephen Hauschka signing with Jacksonville since I drafted him to a best-ball league where my other kicker is also unemployed. But Hauschka iffy. James Robinson looks good. Tyler Boyd and DJ Chark too. EDIT: Just saw a report that Joe Mixon has picked up a chest injury out of nowhere. If Mixon winds up inactive, Giovani Bernard zooms into the rankings -- as in, about 4-5 spots higher than Mixon was yesterday. Especially appealing in PPR.

Colts at Bears: Colts should run a lot, part of why we're cool on their passing game, and matchup also not great. Not really excited about Bears offense either; just David Montgomery and Allen Robinson. Yeah I don't have much to offer on this matchup.

Cardinals at Panthers: I expect DeAndre Hopkins will play and be fine. Gotta check those inactives, but I'd throw him out there and take my chances. Slight boost to Larry Fitzgerald, but still not crazy about him. Fine using Mike Davis and DJ Moore.

Giants at Rams: The Rams are the other Survivor pick. Obviously. Giants aren't bringing a lot to the table and Daniel Jones against their pass rush is what you call, dangerous. Steering clear of their running back committee, too. For the Rams, Darrell Henderson finally paying off for those of us who took the chance, hopefully he'll keep it up. Rams passing game, yes please.

Bills at Raiders: John Brown will play, and sounds like Zack Moss will too. Makes me nervous about using Devin Singletary, even though I'm not sure how Miss misses just one game with a toe injury. If it's turf toe, seems like he'd miss more. If it's anything else involving his toe, I'm surprised he missed last week. Whatever, I'm shying away from both running backs, though I'd at least consider Singletary in a good matchup. And Allen obvs, and Diggs. For the Raiders, Jacobs-Waller-Renfrow.

Patriots at Kansas City: Will be interesting to see if New England finds a way to slow Patrick Mahomes and Company down. I don't see it, so I'm starting them all, but there's at least some uncertainty. For New England, I've somehow stumbled into having a couple of their running backs. Drafted Damien Harris, picked up Rex Burkhead, even knowing he can't comfortably be started unless James White is out, which this week he won't be. Messy using any New England running back. Newton, Edelman, Harry in a game where they could be chasing points, sure.

Eagles at 49ers: San Francisco is planning to activate Deebo Samuel. This is I suppose good news, but risky to use him and risky also now to use Brandon Aiyuk. So I hope they change their mind and keep Deebo out one more week. George Kittle returns. For the Eagles, there's Miles Sanders and Zach Ertz. Nobody else seems to be healthy or appealing in the offense. Boston Scott has played under 20 percent of the snaps the last two weeks and I guess it's safe to cut him; can't be used with Sanders healthy.

Falcons at Packers: I'm comfortable that Davante Adams is playing and can be used. And with Allen Lazard out, I like MVS, even with the sting of last week having not yet faded. But Green Bay should score in the 30s and those are the main guys for Aaron Rodgers to throw to. Sounds like all Falcons will be available and I think they'll be scoring in the mid-to-high 20s. Good spot to consider Hayden Hurst for the type of game he had in Week 2.

Enjoy the games.
