It's Sunday morning, but the most significant developments and news involve guys playing on Monday and Tuesday. James Conner isn't expected to be active for Pittsburgh, while Lamar Jackson is expected to play for the Ravens.

  • With Conner likely out, Benny Snell will start, with Anthony McFarland mixing in. Our Friday rankings update showed where Snell ranks if Conner is out.

  • Jackson is expected to be available for the Ravens on Tuesday, but sounds like Mark Andrews won't be. That's not certain, but that's what reports are suggesting. Baltimore will replace him with Luke Willson, but he's not comparable. Anyone who watched the Wednesday game last week saw Willson drop a touchdown right before the half and another pass in that game.

  • A report that Drew Brees (ribs/lung) might return next week. We'll see; I would not want to count on Brees playing that soon, but apparently it's possible.

  • The status of Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) still isn't clear. Broncos and Kansas City play in primetime tonight, for some reason, but the report is only that Kansas City is "hopeful" they'll have their rookie running back available. So helpful! I'm thinking he plays, but if you are planning to use him, make sure you have a decent Plan B either in that game or in one of the three other games being played tomorrow and Tuesday just in case he ends up in active.

  • Tua Tagovailoa is expected to start for the Dolphins, sending Ryan Fitzpatrick back to the bench.

  • Veterans expected to play include Julio Jones and Todd Gurley, both in the Falcons-Saints game. We are not crazy about either player, as the "if active" rankings from Friday indicate.
