Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own brief take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer lineup questions, too.

What follows is a brief look at all the games with how I'd react in my own lineups to injury developments or other news. The official rankings are the ones in the Weekly. Those take precedence. But sometimes players are very close, and in those cases I'm glad to offer opinions on how I'd approach those situations. Sometimes I like certain players more or less than Ian, and sometimes I have different risk tolerance with injuries etc. OK, let's go win a playoff game.

Bills at Broncos: Hey, this one's on today! Both offenses have put up numbers in most recent games, so I'm fine using starters from these teams. The committee nature of both backfields and spread it around nature of the passing games are problems; guys like Gabriel Davis, Dawson Knox and Noah Fant could pay off with a touchdown, but could also catch 3 passes for 30 yards. And Gordon-Lindsay-Moss-Singletary could be the back to get in the end zone, or not. But in general there should be some offense.

Panthers at Packers: Another game where there should be some offensive production. Gonna be cold in Green Bay but not players moving in slow motion cold. Got bounced by 2 points in a high-scoring playoff matchup last week and choose to blame Rodgers, who had to have all the touchdowns, couldn't let Aaron Jones have any of them. I'm sure this week Jones will score multiple touchdowns now that it's too late. Mike Davis looks good, DJ Moore too, with Curtis Samuel questionable. Robert Tonyan fine, start other Packers receivers after Davante Adams at your own risk.

49ers at Cowboys: Got a comment yesterday regarding the high ranking of Jeff Wilson, "hope you're right." Will reiterate, the Wilson ranking was conditional on Mostert being out, which seemed very possible when the Weekly came out. Mostert is going to play, Wilson should be at best half of a committee, I do not plan to start him. Not crazy about Mostert, either, despite the choice matchup, but I'd use him. Just, committees are scary. I'm benching Ezekiel Elliott in a playoff game, for a wide receiver no less. He's hurting, didn't practice, might be limited, hasn't been good this year anyway. If Elliott winds up inactive (I'm not expecting that), Tony Pollard would look very good. Love Brandon Aiyuk in this game, I'm starting him anywhere I have him, absolutely. No doubt. No other certain starts in this game though.

Seahawks at Football Team: While I have a healthy respect for the Washington defense, it's not so healthy that I'd be sitting down Russell Wilson, Chris Carson and DK Metcalf. I'm also starting Tyler Lockett, slightly influenced by facing Wilson in that matchup. Washington will have Dwayne Haskins at quarterback, and that's really a downer for all involved (including the Seattle offense, which might not have to do as much). But helpful for those of us with the Seattle Defense. No Antonio Gibson, so J.D. McKissic (ex-Seahawk) is viable. Grudgingly using Terry McLaurin (over Zeke) and hoping he at some point takes a short throw through the secondary.

Bears at Vikings:David Montgomery is a definite, so are Allen Robinson and the key Vikings, while noting it's a tough matchup. But with both teams 6-7 and the fat lady warming up, how high will the intensity really be. Not expecting a shootout but probably using the regular starters. Irv Smith promising with Kyle Rudolph out.

Patriots at Dolphins: Hard to keep track out who's in or out for these various teams. Lot of questionable players. Rather than trying to guess my lean is to steer clear of most of them. Lots of guys hurting or in committees. Salvon Ahmed seems to be the best bet for a lead back for Miami, but a committee should ensue. I'd consider Lynn Bowden in PPR. But in general I'd prefer not to hinge my playoff hopes on anyone in this game.

Jaguars at Ravens: Gardner Minshew leads the Jaguars into battle again. I like James Robinson for his all-around production, was questionable earlier in the week but practiced fully on Friday, good to go. For the Ravens the matchup is great and I'm fine with Lamar and Andrews and either Dobbins or Edwards, while conceding it's an unreliable committee, just happens to be a week where there should be enough production to go around.

Bucs at Falcons: No Ronald Jones, so I'm interested in Leonard Fournette. No Julio, so Russell Gage is viable and Calvin Ridley should be great. Bucs passing game should also be pretty good, there are just a lot of possible targets. No thanks to Falcons running back committee.

Lions at Titans: Apparently Matthew Stafford might play. I have no interest in using him, but just letting you know. Marvin Jones should be the No. 1, T.J. Hockenson the de facto No. 2. I don't think their prospects are dramatically worse with Chase Daniel; worse, but I'd use them with Daniel too. For the Titans, I'm a little lukewarm on Ryan Tannehill and the passing game. For now I'm going with the idea that the Titans, aware that Derrick Henry has a good shot at reaching 2,000 yards, will be mindful of that and give him most of the touches. Not saying not to use Tannehill, AJB or Davis. Just saying I could see a below-average outing from the passing game.

Texans at Colts: Rough game for Houston at Chicago last week, and this is another good defense. But Watson very close to fine numbers anyway (had a touchdown reversed on replay, one of those stupid eyelash-reviews of a goal-line plays, and now he's got Brandin Cooks back. Colts offense looks good all around.

Eagles at Cardinals: Probably higher-scoring. Having left Justin Herbert on the bench for Kyler Murray in a playoff game, I'm hoping Murray is back doing his thing. Chase Edmonds questionable, a positive for Kenyan Drake. For the Eagles, Jalen Hurt and Miles Sanders look good. I'm using Dallas Goedert as well. Hopkins yes, Kirk more of a desperation choice. Important game with the Eagles legit to win the NFC East.

Jets at Rams: Hey, we've made it down to my Survivor Pick for this week. If you can't bet on the Rams at home to beat the winless Jets, what are we doing here. Rams starters good, Jets starters bad. There's your preview, good luck!

Kansas City at Saints: Not afraid to use any Kansas City players against a good Saints defense. The ones you'd normally use, that is. For the Saints, Drew Brees is in but Michael Thomas is out. A final kick in the teeth to those who drafted Thomas who may have somehow snuck into the playoffs. I personally am not about to try TreQuan Smith, but Emmanuel Sanders is viable, and Jared Cook has the potential touchdown appeal. Alvin Kamara a definite.

Browns at Giants: A few weeks back the NFL switch the scheduled Cowboys-49ers Sunday night game to this one. A good choice from the perspective of the NFL playoffs, since this one has meaning in both conferences. But I can't say I'm any more thrilled to watch this. Feels like the Browns have been in primetime a lot lately. But Chubb is great and Hunt is pretty good and Mayfield has his moments. For the Giants we've likely got Colt McCoy against his original team, would be interesting if anyone connected with the Browns when McCoy was there was still around. Give me Wayne Gallman and perhaps Sterling Shepard. Evan Engram picked up a calf injury in practice this week, apparently, making him a less enticing play.

Steelers at Bengals: I've had my qualms with the NFL schedule makers at times this year. In fairness, Ravens-Browns last week was a heckuva game. But did they not look at the schedule at the time it was being created and say, hmm, AFC North matchups on back-to-back Monday nights... Did that not raise any kind of concern? Bengals had the top pick in the draft last year so it's not a surprise that they're terrible. Anyway, Steelers should have James Conner, but I won't be recommending their running game anyway. Roethlisberger and his receivers look fine. Cincinnati's offense, I'll take a hard pass on everyone. Either Higgins or Boyd might have a good game. It'll be on my bench.

Enjoy the games and good luck.
