Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own brief take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer lineup questions, too.

What follows is a brief look at all the games with how I'd react in my own lineups to injury developments or other news. The official rankings are the ones in the Weekly. Those take precedence. But sometimes players are very close, and in those cases I'm glad to offer opinions on how I'd approach those situations. Sometimes I like certain players more or less than Ian, and sometimes I have different risk tolerance with injuries etc. OK, let's go win a playoff game.

Bucs at Lions: Lions defense is pretty much garbage so the only question is whether the Bucs will score more touchdowns on runs or passes. The runs will primarily involve Leonard Fournette so I'd start him if I had him anywhere. A cast of thousands could catch passing scores for the Bucs, that's the negative with those guys. Matthew Stafford, T.J. Hockenson and Marvin Jones look viable, D'Andre Swift for his pass catching role as well. Lions won't be doing much successful running though.

49ers at Cardinals: All the good will the Shanahans had built up with us over the years is pretty much gone by the nonsense they've been employing with their backfield all season. Injuries are a part of it but they're also just kind of being jerks by how they use and don't use guys. I can say, OK, sure they don't give a crap about our fantasy teams, which is true, but considering the team is 5-9 it's clearly not working so great for them either. The matchup is fine but I don't trust them to feature Jeff Wilson enough to highly recommend him. Arizona's offense should be good with San Francisco likely going through the motions.

Dolphins at Raiders: Derek Carr has apparently made a miraculous recovery from his groin injury. Dolphins defense has been pretty good all year, though, so I'm not crazy about recommending a bunch of Raiders. Myles Gaskin returns to the lineup for Miami, but we're not certain he'll be in a workhorse role. Raiders defense is pretty awful so some potential with Gaskin, of course, but the possibility of Salvon Ahmed playing some needs to be respected. Gotta watch the inactives for Miami's various pass catchers.

Colts at Steelers: Big game I suppose, but not as big in 2020. Both these teams are going to the playoffs and homefield advantage doesn't mean much this year. Steelers offense has been so terrible it's hard to get excited about it. James Conner should start at running back, I can't recommend Conner. Defense has been so good it's hard to be optimistic about the Colts offense. I'm probably in the minority but I think there's a little too much complaining about JuJu Smith-Schuster doing Fortnite dances on team's logos. Kids enjoy it. Blah blah disrespect. Whatever. If that's the kind of thing teams need to get emotionally fired up to play a game, well, OK. But I guess he's going to stop.

Falcons at Kansas City: Atlanta is very good defending the run. I like LeVeon Bell anyway for what should be a large passing game role. I'm OK with the Falcons passing game as well. Julio is out, again. Ridley-Gage-Hurst. Tyreek Hill should be fine and there will probably be some big plays in the passing game for Kansas City.

Bears at Jaguars: We ranked Alvin Kamara 2nd in this week's rankings, behind David Montgomery. So get ready for him to score SEVEN touchdowns, let's go! Love the Bears offense this week. For Jacksonville, James Robinson questionable after not practicing all week. It's hard to say how hurt he is (hurt enough that he ain't practicing), but I don't mind benching him unless I really have no alternative (not crazy about using either of his backups even if he's inactive). Allen Robinson got in a limited practice on Friday so should be good to go against his original team, but check the inactives just in case.

Bengals at Texans:Houston's run defense is horrible, so theoretically it's a nice week to start Giovani Bernard. Now me, I'd think Cincinnati would want to give Trayveon Williams a little work, but I guess evaluating young players is something we NFL watchers think about but coaching staffs don't always spend any time on. If you have Bernard I guess he is a nice option but I don't think it's without risk. Houston's offense should be very good in a lost cause as it's basically been all season.

Giants at Ravens: A meaningful game, this is nice. Meaningful at least for a while, but hard to feel good about the Giants offense making a game of this one. Their defense is good but I kind of think Baltimore will find some holes here and there. I like J.K. Dobbins, Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, Marquise Brown some too. New York has gone the committee route at running back and I'll pass on all those guys.

Browns at Jets: With the Jets having done their job knocking me out of my Survivor Pool, I expect they'll go fairly quietly this week. Mayfield, Chubb, Hunt, Landry, even Hooper and perhaps Rashard Higgins all look viable.

Panthers at Washington: Terry McLaurin is doubtful, so he can't be used. Antonio Gibson and Alex Smith are both questionable; should play, but it will need to be confirmed when the inactives come out. Seems like a probable very low-scoring game, so I'm not excited about anyone on either team.

Broncos at Chargers: There's a certain comfort in these meaningless games where the motivation (not much) should be similar for both teams. With no Phillip Lindsay, I'm a Melvin Gordon fan against his former team. Justin Herbert will set a record or two here so I'm in on him. Which receivers will benefit is more shaky. I don't feel good about Keenan Allen being available (though he did get in a limited practice yesterday) or playing fully if he is. No Hunter Henry, but I'm a little wary of assuming Donald Parham is going to have a similar role. Should be more offense than defense in this game, so there's that.

Eagles at Cowboys: I'm expecting good numbers from all Eagles starters here. How to handle the Cowboys is dicier. Presumably Ezekiel Elliott will return and start, but seems likely to be a committee with Tony Pollard, who's healthier and perhaps better right now. Eagles have a cast of thousands at receiver but seems like Goedert and Reagor are the best bets. Yes on Jalen Hurts.

Rams at Seahawks: Historically, recently, Russell Wilson hasn't been good against the Rams. I think you downgrade those guys, but it's a somewhat big game (again, both these teams are going to the playoffs and neither is getting a bye, so how big is it really?) and I think Wilson will be running some and probably have a hand in any touchdowns the team scores. For the Rams, the matchup looks fine and Kupp and Woods particularly should be busy. No Cam Akers, so Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown will be the running backs and I imagine Sean McVay will find a way to ruin the appeal of one of them anyway, by letting a tight end run in a score or something.

Titans at Packers: Big game! Sort of. Packers are going to be the top seed in the NFC and should win this, but their defense isn't great so Tennessee should put up good numbers. I'd love to see Derrick Henry go for 2,000 yards, so rooting for a big game from him here. It will be cold with potentially some snow, but I'm not betting against either offense.

Bills at Patriots: Apparently Stefon Diggs is healthy and should be good in this game, with New England eliminated and Stephon Gilmore on IR. I've seen no one at all talk about this idea I have that Buffalo will kind of sleepwalk through this one since they've locked up the AFC East and can't get a bye, so I guess it must just be me thinking that. I just can't see Josh Allen doing a lot of running or taking a lot of hits with much bigger games coming up in January. This means nothing. But like I said, I appear to be on an island with this thought so go ahead and plan to use Allen and Diggs as you normally would. Patriots have really struggled against the run lately so both running backs could be good, the negative being the committee. I really have no interest in New England's offense; I'm not sure the Patriots do either.

Enjoy the games.
