What NFL commissioner played college basketball at Georgetown?
Paul Tagliabue. Tagliabue was the captain of Georgetown’s team in 1961-62. After graduating from Georgetown, Tagliabue earned a law degree at New York University. After serving as an attorney for the NFL, Tagliabue became the league’s commissioner in 1989, replacing Pete Rozelle. Tagliabue is being inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer.
