At the halfway point of the season, the Titans are the surprise leaders in the AFC, and the schedules indicate they’ve got a decent chance of staying there. They don’t have Derrick Henry anymore, but they’ve got the league’s easiest remaining schedule.
They’ve got eight games left, and half of them are against the Texans (twice), Jaguars and Dolphins. That helps. And powered by those also-rans, Tennessee’s remaining games are against teams that are a combined 24-44.
The Jets, Eagles and Bucs are the other teams with the easiest schedules in Weeks 10-18.
Kansas City, meanwhile, has the hardest remaining schedule. It’s final eight games are against teams that are currently 41-26. Other teams with difficult remaining schedules include the four in the AFC North (where everyone currently has a winning record), along with Carolina and Detroit.
