There's been some news since the Friday Update, with most of it involving Eagles players. They've got a choice matchup with the Jets, but it looks like they won't have their starting quarterback. That's the guess, anyway, although there have been slightly conflicting reports.

  • An Eagles beat writer reported yesterday that Jalen Hurts wouldn't plan. Adam Schefer followed up with one saying the Eagles would take it up to gametime, so he's not officially out yet. But sounds like a good chance he'll be inactive, and risk of aggravation should he play at all -- best avoided. Gardner Minshew will start if Hurts can't go (which is the expectation), and looking at the rankings, I think he slots in around 16-18. I'd use him over Tyrod Taylor, for sure, not as certain about the quarterbacks just above him.

  • Boston Scott (illness) is expected to play. Scott didn't practice this week, and Miles Sanders is healthy, so I wouldn't be excited to use Scott.

  • Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins will play for the Cardinals. Murray looks good to use; probably fewer designed runs. Ranked appropriately on Friday. Hopkins, according to a report, might not play a full complement of snaps. So top-30 potential, but not where he'd be if it were certain he'd be 100 percent healthy.

  • Odell Beckham (hip) is expected to play for the Rams. Ian Rapoport says Beckham will be a bigger part of the offense, for what little that's worth (Rapoport says what teams want to put out there, and sometimes gets used by them, in my opinion).

  • David Johnson isn't expected to play for Houston. Pinning one's fantasy hopes on Rex Burkhead can best be described as risky, but Houston has almost nothing else in its backfield, just Royce Freeman these days. Looking at the Friday rankings, I'd consider Burkhead about a spot higher; no more.

  • Josh Jacobs (ankle) and DeSean Jackson (calf) are both expected to play for the Raiders; both cropped up on the injury report during the week.

  • James Robinson (ankle) is expected to suit up for Jacksonville. Worth checking the inactives, but he should be out there in a tough matchup with the Rams.
