It's Sunday of Fantasy Super Bowl week, and we're getting the final info on who's playing and who's not. Thus far, no surprises, but with a lot of the players who are active, they might be limited. Here are some of the big ones.
Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to play for Tampa Bay. But sounds like he could play limited snaps, maybe around the goal line. So if you start Evans, you're playing for a touchdown, against a Jets defense that gives up a lot of them. A 6 catches for 80 yards game probably isn't going to happen, but maybe he catches 3 for 30 and a score.
Same game, Antonio Brown (ankle) is expected to play. There hasn't been talk about limited snaps, but reasonable to worry about an in-game aggravation. Still, if I had Brown, I'd use him -- far more likely to play a full game than Evans.
Jordan Howard (stinger) is expected to play. Howard looks like a touchdown-or-bust type option as well. But hurts the appeal of Boston Scott.
James Conner (heel) is expected to play for Arizona. That one sounds less certain, in part because we were told last Saturday that Conner was expected to play, and he wound up inactive. I think Chase Edmonds is still the clear top option here, with Conner playing limited snaps, including around the goal line. So kind of like Evans and Howard -- will pay off if he scores, unlikely to have a huge role between the 20s.
Elijah Mitchell, D'Andre Swift, Damien Harris -- those guys are expected to play and be fine.
Carson Wentz was activated off the COVID list, he's playing.
Will post other significant updates/developments in the comments if I see them. Good luck.
