There were some huge receiving games last week, with several instances of players putting up a lot of yards on very few catches. Gabe Davis and Davante Adams joined a fairly select group, and Breece Hall was in the neighborhood.

Davis caught 3 passes for 171 yards and 2 TDs for Buffalo, while Adams also caught 3 passes, for 124 yards and 2 TDs for Las Vegas. Hall went for exactly 100 yards on just 2 catches for the Jets, impressive also because he's a running back.

I wondered how often a receiver puts up as many yards as those two wideouts did on 3 or fewer catches. I picked 120 yards as the cutoff, excluding Hall, sorry buddy.

Since 2000, there have been 33 players to go over 120 yards while catching 3 or fewer passes. Only Torry Holt had more yards in those parameters than Davis just did.
