Question
Buffalo plays at Chicago today. Who is the only player who has thrown touchdown passes in playoff games for both of these teams?
Answer
Doug Flutie. Chicago’s defense of its Super Bowl title ended in January, 1987, with a 27-13 loss against Washington at Soldier Field. Flutie was the starting quarterback in that game. His only other playoff start came for the Bills 12 years later; he passed for 360 yards and a touchdown in their 24-17 loss at Miami in a first-round game.
