After bouncing around the league, DT Andrew Billings has found a home in Chicago at least through the 2025 season after inking a deal Thursday for $8.5 million with $6 million guaranteed.

Andrew Billings signed a one-year deal with the Bears in March after a decent season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Quickly becoming the Bear's premiere interior defensive lineman due to his ability to bust through offensive lines coupled with his run defense, through Week 8, Billings has 14 total tackles (7 solo), including 3 for losses and 1 QB hit.

Billings was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 4th round in 2016 and he also had a stint with the Cleveland Browns in 2021 before heading to Las Vegas in 2022.

Billings' time with the Browns garnered him only one tackle in six games before he headed to the Raiders, where he notched 39 tackles in 14 games. Not including the 2023, Billings averages 24 tackles a season.

About the signing, the Bears' GM Ryan Poles said, "We're extremely excited to be able to keep Andrew in Chicago. The professionalism, dependability and toughness he brings exhibit the type of player we want in our organization."

The Chicago Bears are currently 2-6 (4th in NFC North) and play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, November 5th.
