The 2-6 NY Giants announced Friday they placed Pro Bowl Kicker Graham Gano on IR following a knee injury and pending surgery.

Giants officially placed kicker Graham Gano on injured reserve, signed kicker Cade York to their active roster off the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad and signed Randy Bullock to their practice squad.

Graham Gano is set for season-ending surgery next week after dealing with a non-kicking knee injury for several weeks. It is clear that Gano's injury has affected his performance as he has made just 11 of 17 of his field goals this season and he missed two crucial field goals week 8 in an OT loss to the NY Jets (13-10).

Enter Randy Bullock who was signed to the active roster and Cade York who signed with the practice squad.

In addition to his two seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Bullock played for the Giants in just one game in 2016. He was 2 for 3 on extra points and 0 field goal attempts. Bullock has made 211 of 253 field goals and 285 of 298 extra points in his 11 year career. The kicker was drafted in the fifth round by the Houston Texans in 2012.

Cade York was picked up by Cleveland Browns in the fourth-round in the 2022 draft. However, York struggled throughout the season despite kicking a long game-winning field goal on opening day. The Browns released him during the 2023 preseason and he had not signed with any other team before being signed to the Giants practice squad.

His regular-season career stats include a 24-of-32 success rate on field goals and a 35-of-37 success rate on PATs.

With Graham Gano sidelined, the starting kicker spot is up for grabs between Randy Bullock and Cade York as the Giants face the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday.
