Bryce Young and the Panthers offense sure are struggling. They're averaging just 270 next yards and 15 points per week. That drops to 14 if you remove the game Andy Dalton started. They're bad.
Plenty of fault to go around, from coaching staff (fired) to personnel around him, and to Young himself. Whatever the case, Young will certainly get more time to develop -- Carolina doesn't have much in the way of high picks to add another candidate -- but it's hard to feel good about things.
Young last week had arguably his worst game at New Orleans, completing just 13 of 36 passes. That's just 36 percent, which is the worst percentage by a quarterback all season (minimum 10 attempts). Using the search tools at pro-football-reference.com, I compiled a table of the 25 worst games in this regard this year. Young makes the list multiple times, as do several benched or released quarterbacks.

This brings us to the Atlanta defense, which faces Young this week. It got 2 sacks and 3 turnovers off him in the Week 1 meeting. Young on the season in 12 games has taken 48 sacks (4 per week), thrown 9 interceptions, and fumbled 8 times. The Falcons themselves haven't been great in those key fantasy areas, but they do get a boost from the matchup this week.
