With Young out of action, veteran quarterback ANDY DALTON is set to start in his place. Factoid: Aidan O'Connell
At what point is it fair to wonder if Aidan O’Connell might be better than some of the three quarterbacks picked in the first round? He passed for more yards and touchdowns in the preseason than all of them combined. more »

Panthers QB Young likely to play in preseason finale
Carolina Panthers quarterback BRYCE YOUNG has thrown just six passes in each of the team’s two preseason games thus far. Factoid: Bryce Young
With Bryce Young, I like that he’s shown he can play well against strong opposition. Almost all quarterbacks drafted in the first round have put up pinball numbers in college, but Young has done it in big games against the best defenses in the SEC – the most NFL-like level of competition. more »
Panthers QB Young takes first team snaps
Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback BRYCE YOUNG took the first snaps at quarterback during practice earlier this week, which was a shift from veteran ANDY DALTON being the first man up at… More previous practices. Head coach Frank Reich said that he and GM Scott Fitterer “earmarked” this week as the time to bump Young up in the rotation. With Young being the first overall pick in April’s NFL Draft, it’s likely that he will stay atop the Panthers depth chart heading into the season opener. Less
