While Justin Fields’ destination for 2024 is not yet definitive, DraftKings Sportsbook might know something that the football public doesn’t.

Two weeks ago, the odds of the Falcons landing the 2021 first-round selection was at +600. Recently, it’s now at -250, making it highly likely that he has played his last game for the Chicago Bears.

As CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo reported, Fields’ agent posted a video of Fields screaming and jumping for joy. But, interestingly, someone said, “Hope you ready to go home,” while Fields was celebrating.

Fields was born in Kennesaw, Georgia, and played high school football at Harrison. The quarterback spent one season with the Georgia Bulldogs before transferring to Ohio State, wherein he became a two-time Griese-Brees Quarterback of the Year winner.

While Fields’ transfer to the Falcons remains unofficial, Bears general manager Ryan Poles hinted during the NFL Scouting Combine that their starting play-caller for the last three seasons will join a new team. If they push through, it guarantees they will select a quarterback with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

If Fields joins the Falcons, he will compete for the starting role with Desmond Ridder. They might let Taylor Heinicke walk away to save cap space.

Three years ago, the Bears traded up with the New York Giants to be in position to draft Justin Fields. They gave up their 2021 first and fifth-round picks with their 2022 first and fourth-round picks to complete the transaction.

In three seasons with the Bears, Fields had 578 completions for 6,674 yards, 40 passing touchdowns, and 30 interceptions. He has a 60.3 career completion percentage and gains seven yards per completion. Conversely, he has 2,220 rushing yards, including 1,143 in 2022, with 14 touchdowns.
