The Miami Dolphins bolstered their wide receiver corps by signing Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth up to $8.25 million. Multiple reports reveal that Beckham received more lucrative offers from other NFL teams. However, he signed with the Dolphins because of fit.

Beckham will join 1,000-yard receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle in the Dolphins rotation. His arrival will also benefit quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in the passing game.

Beckham played the 2023 season for the Baltimore Ravens after signing a one-year, $15 million contract. However, he didn't deliver according to expectations, finishing with 565 yards and three touchdowns.

The Dolphins will be the fifth team for which Beckham will play. The New York Giants selected him 12th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft and signed him to a four-year, $10.4 million rookie scale contract. He became a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro with the Giants.

His best year came in 2015 when he tallied 1,450 yards and 13 touchdowns. Beckham had at least 1,000 yards in four of his five seasons with New York.

After playing for New York's NFC team, Beckham was traded to the Cleveland Browns for two draft picks (2019 first and third-rounders), Kevin Zeitler, and Jabrill Peppers. The Browns released him in the middle of the 2021 season before the Los Angeles Rams signed him. He came right on time, helping the Rams win Super Bowl 56.

He skipped the 2022 season due to an ACL tear and signed with the Ravens after his recovery period.
