ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that the Buffalo Bills have signed rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman to a four-year rookie scale contract. The deal doesn’t come with a fifth-year option because he was selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. With Coleman signing on the dotted line, the Bills have their entire 2024 rookie class under contract.
Spotrac reveals that Coleman's contract is worth $10,074,528 and includes a $4,146,732 signing bonus. The former Michigan State and Florida State standout will earn a $795,000 base salary in 2024 and will count for $1,831,683 against the salary cap.
After his rookie season, Coleman's base salary will increase to $1,252,921 in 2025, $1,710,842 in 2026, and $2,168,763 in 2027.
Bills officially signed second-round selection WR Keon Coleman to his standard four-year rookie contract.

Coleman became a First Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference member in his lone season with the Seminoles (2023), tallying 50 receptions for 658 passing yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games. He was also a 2022 Third Team All-Big Ten member after finishing with 58 catches for 798 yards and seven touchdowns for the Spartans.
Buffalo initially held the 28th pick in the first round but traded with the Kansas City Chiefs to receive the last pick in Round 1 (32nd overall). However, the Bills traded one spot down with the Carolina Panthers to move out of the first round and get the pick that landed them Coleman.
Keon Coleman is among quarterback Josh Allen's vital targets in the revamped Bills passing game sans Stefon Diggs. He's a projected starter alongside fellow receivers Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, and tight end Dalton Kincaid.
