Isiah Pacheco was a fantastic pick for the Kansas City Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Since then, the former Rutgers standout has averaged 882.5 rushing yards and collected 12 touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons. He also scored his first two career receiving touchdowns last year.
However, while he has a firm hold on the starting running back role, he’s still working to be the best player possible. Hence, he’s doing extra work, even if he has to do drills by midnight. BroBible NFL writer Dov Kleiman shared that Pacheco was seen practicing routes with a companion at 12:01 a.m. While training camp for Chiefs veterans doesn’t start until July 23, he’s already putting himself into game shape.

In addition to improving his numbers, Pacheco would want to participate in all regular season games, as he did during his rookie season. Unfortunately, he missed three games during his sophomore NFL year due to a shoulder injury.
More importantly, Pacheco and the Chiefs aim for their permanent place in NFL history as the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles. In doing so, Pacheco will be the first running back to win Super Bowls in his first three seasons.
