ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter tweeted that the Miami Dolphins signed veteran wide receiver Willie Snead IV. While the terms of the deal remain a secret, his signing presents a weird dynamic for the AFC East squad.
As David Furones, the Sun Sentinel's beat reporter for the Dolphins, tweeted, Snead allegedly tweeted a derogatory statement about quarterback Tua Tagovailoa last January. Snead said the Dolphins would have a better winning chance if the newly extended quarterback wasn't playing "soft."

However, Snead must bury his beef with Tagovailoa, especially if he makes the team. Since being undrafted in 2014, the former Ball State standout has found a way to remain in the league. Snead had his NFL break with the New Orleans Saints after unsuccessful tries with the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers.
Since then, he has played for the Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers. He also made the Panthers' active roster in 2021. As of the 2023 NFL season, Snead has 281 receptions for 3,445 yards and 16 touchdowns in 103 regular-season games.
The Dolphins seek depth at wide receiver after placing Odell Beckham Jr. on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list to begin training camp. They hope that Snead will complement Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle perfectly.
