The National Football League has announced that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun, and Detroit Lions placekicker Jake Bates are the National Football Conference’s best players for Week 10 of the 2024 season.
Murray was the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after being near perfect with his throws (91.6 percent). The versatile quarterback finished with 22 completions, 266 passing yards, 21 rushing yards, and three touchdowns for a 126.7 passer rating.
Those numbers improved his season totals to 191 completed passes for 2,058 passing yards and 12 touchdowns. He also has four rushing touchdowns out of 371 yards from the ground. More importantly, he led the Cardinals to their fourth consecutive victory and 6-4 overall.
Meanwhile, Baun is the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after finishing with eight tackles, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and a tackle for loss in the Eagles’ dominating victory over their division rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
Baun is the first Eagles off-ball linebacker named Player of the Week since Week 7 of the 2005 season (Jeremiah Trotter). He also has the lowest yards per reception allowed among linebackers with 5.9. Those numbers prove he’s worth more than his $1.6 million salary this season.

Finally, Bates is the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after contributing two field goals and two extra points in the Lions’ come-from-behind victory over the Houston Texans. His two field goals leveled the count at 23 and gave Detroit a 26-23 winning count as time expired. Bates was also the NFC Special Teams best player in Week 7 when he drilled the game-winning field goal against the Minnesota Vikings.
