The Green Bay Packers have started the 2024 NFL season well, winning six of their first nine games. Matt LaFleur’s ingenious offense is a massive reason for their success and wide receiver Jayden Reed is thriving in that system.
As posted on the Packers’ official account on X (formerly Twitter), Reed has gathered 100 receptions. It’s the second most catches by a Green Bay wideout in his first 25 games with the squad. Those receptions helped him collect 1,413 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The wide receiver from Michigan State showed promise during his rookie season, finishing with 793 yards and eight touchdowns. He picked up the pace during the latter part of their 2023 campaign when he had six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns in Week 17 versus the Minnesota Vikings. A week later, Reed had his first 100-yard game as a pro, tallying 112 yards on four catches in a win over the Chicago Bears.

This season, Reed already has three 100-yard games. He had 138 yards in their season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles and 139 in Week 4 versus the Vikings. While the Packers lost to the Detroit Lions in Week 9, Reed had five catches for 113 yards.
If he maintains his production, Reed is on pace to reach 1,171 yards in his second NFL season. More importantly, his output could help the Packers clinch another playoff berth.
