The Atlanta Falcons are leading the NFC South after winning six of their first ten games. While Kirk Cousins is a massive reason for their transformation, wide receivers Drake London and Darnell Mooney deserve credit for the team’s success.
As posted by the Falcons’ official account on X (formerly Twitter), London and Mooney are the only wide receiver duo this season to have at least 600 receiving yards and five touchdowns each. Mooney has 46 catches for 684 yards and five touchdowns, while London has 58 receptions for 649 yards and six TDs.

Mooney is on pace to have his best season as a pro. In his first season with the Falcons, he’s had a 105-yard, two-touchdown game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The wideout from Tulane has been consistent lately, tallying at least 86 receiving yards in each of his last three games.
Meanwhile, London had a season-high 154 yards and one touchdown in their first meeting with the Buccaneers. Though he struggled as of late, he bounced back with eight catches and 97 yards in their loss to the New Orleans Saints.
London and Mooney will be integral to the Falcons’ push for a postseason return, a place they haven’t reached since 2018. Their drive for the playoffs continues when they travel to Colorado and face the Denver Broncos in Week 11.
