The National Football League has announced Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still, and New York Jets running back/return specialist Keke Nwangwu as the American Football Conference’s top players for Week 13 of the 2024 season.
Allen is the AFC Offensive Player of the Week despite having only 166 passing yards. However, he became the first player in league history to have a passing, a rushing, and a receiving touchdown in the same game. He registered the receiving TD after Amari Cooper handed him a lateral pass, which he took to the end zone with style.
The former Wyoming standout is putting up Most Valuable Player-worthy numbers, tallying a 64.6 completion percentage (230 of 356) for 2,691 yards, 20 touchdowns, and only five interceptions. Allen also has 334 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Still is the AFC Defensive Player of the Week after tallying three tackles, three passes defended, and two interceptions against the Atlanta Falcons. He returned one of his picks for a 61-yard touchdown, which was the difference-maker in the Chargers’ victory.
Finally, Nwangwu is the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after returning three kicks for 157 yards, including a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown. However, despite that impressive play, it wasn’t enough to help the Jets defeat the Seattle Seahawks.

Nwangwu and the Jets can bounce back in Week 14 when they face division rivals Miami Dolphins. Meanwhile, Allen and the Bills can extend their winning streak to eight games by defeating the Los Angeles Rams on the road. Finally, Still and the Chargers can score their sixth win in their last seven games by beating the Kansas City Chiefs.
