As reported by ESPN NFL Nation’s Todd Archer, the Dallas Cowboys have announced that linebacker DeMarvion Overshown suffered a season-ending knee injury during their Week 14 Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Worse yet, it was later revealed that Overshown tore his ACL, PCL, and MCL. In addition to the abrupt end to his 2024 season, the lengthy recovery period might force him to miss the early part of the Cowboys’ 2025 season.

It’s unclear at this point whether or not Overshown will be able to play in 2025.

The injury is an unfortunate ending to Overshown’s breakout season. In 13 games, the linebacker from Texas had 90 total tackles (eight for losses), five quarterback hits, five sacks, four passes defended, a fumble recovery, and an interception.
Sadly, his injury marks another season that ended in injury for Overshown. His 2023 season ended when he tore his ACL during the Cowboys’ preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Just when the Cowboys have found another integral piece to their defense, Overshown will return to the rehabilitation process with no definite timeline.
