The Philadelphia Eagles will be playing in their second Super Bowl in three seasons. This time, they are looking for payback from the Kansas City Chiefs, the team that defeated them in Super Bowl LVII. But for this crop of Eagles, general manager Howie Roseman took only eight days to build a formidable roster.
On March 11, 2024, Roseman signed Landon Dickerson to a three-year contract extension. A day later, he retained punter Braden Mann and long snapper Rick Lovato on contract extensions. However, Roseman made a splash after signing Saquon Barkley to a three-year contract. On the same day of Barkley’s signing, Bryce Huff agreed to a three-year deal, while Matt Hennessy signed a one-year contract.
On April 25, Roseman signed A.J. Brown to a three-year extension and selected Quinyon Mitchell in the NFL Draft. A day later, they took Cooper DeJean and Jalyx Hunt in the draft. The Eagles took six more players on day three of the draft while adding more picks to their 2025 stock. Finally, they welcomed Mekhi Becton on a one-year contract.
Roseman fortified the Eagles' roster, making them NFC Champions who can win the franchise’s second Super Bowl title.
