Trouble Brewing with the Packers?

While the Green Bay Packers made the playoffs for the fifth time in the last six seasons, they didn’t stand a chance against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card Round. They scored only ten points, with running back Josh Jacobs contributing a one-yard touchdown.

Speaking of Jacobs, he might have started an internal controversy. The All-Pro running back shared on ‘No BS’ with Bill Schmid and Armen Saryan that they need a guy who’s proven to be a number one wide receiver. However, Packers wideout Dontayvion Wicks disapproved of Jacobs’s statement with a thumbs down.

The Packers do have interesting wideouts in Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, and Christian Watson. However, none of them reached 1,000 receiving yards, with Reed leading the way with 857. Likewise, tight end Tucker Kraft finished second with 707 yards.

If the Packers are to follow Jacobs’ suggestion, they can target some free agent wideouts like Tee Higgins, Keenan Allen, and Keenan Allen among others.
