Raiders, Maxx Crosby Agree to Three-Year, 106.5 Million-Dollar Contract Extension

The Las Vegas Raiders and defensive end Maxx Crosby have agreed to a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension. This deal includes $91.5 million in guaranteed money and will keep him under contract with the Raiders until the 2029 NFL season. However, his new deal will take effect starting in the 2027 season.

Spotrac reveals he will have a base salary of $29 million in 2027, $26.5 million in 2028, and $27.43 million in 2029. Meanwhile, his cap hit will be $29,782,000, $27,782,000, and $28,212,000 in those three years.

Crosby is easily the Raiders’ best defensive player, as proven by his two Second-Team All-Pro and four Pro Bowl selections. The former Eastern Michigan standout finished the 2024 season with 7.5 sacks, 45 tackles (17 for losses), and five pass deflections in 12 games.

Crosby signed a four-year, $98.98 million contract extension during the 2022 offseason. Since then, he had 12.5 sacks that season and a career-high 14.5 in 2023. Those numbers are a part of the 59.5 sacks he tallied since the Raiders selected him in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. His contract extension makes him among the highest-paid non-quarterbacks in the league.
