Did Cam Ward hint at going to the Tennessee Titans?

With only nine days left before Day 1 of the 2025 NFL draft, it’s still uncertain where former Miami Hurricanes quarterback will land. However, in his recent Fortnite streaming session, he might have hinted at his destination.

When asked to enumerate his top four NFL wide receivers, he mentioned Calvin Ridley, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Treylon Burks in that order. When someone asked why Ward left A.J. Brown out, he said that A.J. Brown’s a dog but he’s not Ridley. Furthermore, he named Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears among his top four running backs.

Ward also named Brian Callahan as one of his favorite NFL coaches. Adding his answers and could it be that Ward will be going to the Tennessee Titans, the team with the top overall pick in the 2025 draft? The idea of Ward being floated as the number one pick has been in circulation for some time. But with the way he answered these questions, is Ward going to be the new Titans quarterback?

The Titans are in dire need of a steady option at the position since Ryan Tannehill left. They tried Will Levis and Mason Rudolph last year, but ended up with only three victories. If they’ll get Ward, the Titans hope he can replicate his performance during his lone season with the Hurricanes (305 completions, 4,313 passing yards, 39 touchdowns).
