ESPN’s Matt Miller published an article wherein scouts predicted the top ten picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. For transparency, they assigned unaffiliated scouts with the teams in the top ten and even assigned scouts from the other conference to predict the pick. Trades were not allowed because the scout’s identity remained secret.
The scout assigned to the Tennessee Titans predicted former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward to go off the board first. The reason is simple: he’s the best prospect for the most important position within the 2025 draft class.
Next, the scout assigned to the Cleveland Browns predicted they will take two-way sensation Travis Hunter. The scout believes the Heisman Trophy winner from Colorado is the draft class’s cleanest playmaker. Meanwhile, the scout assigned to the New York Giants predicts former Penn State standout Abdul Carter going third.
Further down the list, the prediction for the New England Patriots is former LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell. Meanwhile, the scout assigned for the Jacksonville Jaguars predict they will select defensive tackle Mason Graham from Michigan.
Here’s the entire prediction list, based on scouts not affiliated with the said teams:
- Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
