It's Sunday morning and the first game kicks off in just about an hour, but there are a few noteworthy updates, some from yesterday and some coming out now.
Jalen Coker (quad) is out for the Panthers. Not a huge name, but he'd have likely been their 2nd-best wide receiver against a Dallas defense that's been very leaky. Instead it should be Xavier Legette and Hunter Renfrow as the next best receivers after Tetairoa McMillan, who we could hardly rank any higher. Also, Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is not expected to play.
Kyler Murray (foot) is not only unlikely to play this week, but it might be a multi-week injury, according to Ian Rapoport. Should be game-manager Jacoby Brissett in the lineup for at least this one, maybe more. I'm still in on Trey McBride, but less warm on Marvin Harrison than I was previously.
Quention Johnson (hamstring) is "trending toward missing" today's game against the Dolphins. Not certain, but it definitely doesn't look safe to use him. Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey look better if Johnson is out or plays limited snaps.
No Terry McLaurin for Washington, not surprising. Falcons won't have Darnell Mooney tomorrow night against Buffalo.
Mac Jones (knee) is questionable but expected to start for San Francisco. Should be fine to use; the team worked out other quarterbacks but didn't sign anyone for depth. Jauan Jennings (ribs/ankle) is also expected to play, but given his injuries I'm wary; Kendrick Bourne safer for a full complement of snaps.
Zay Flowers (shoulder) is expected to play for the Ravens. Rapoport had a line about possibly limited snaps. Schefter did not. I think Flowers should be OK to use as ranked on Friday, but if you're debating him or a similarly ranked wideout, go with the healthier option.
Ja'Marr Chase (illness) is playing, no surprise there.
If I see any other important updates before the start of the games, I'll post in the comments below.

I know that you’re anti-starting injured players so I think that you’re answer is going to be Charbonnet and Bourne, but the rankings say Bourne and Jennings.
I’m nervous that with Jennings playing, I’m risking not starting the right guy if I’m just starting Bourne. Thoughts?

I have Dalton Kincaid, but worried about Monday night. I don't need a TE in that spot. Do I pick up Knox for Monday if Kincaid can't go? Or would you start someone like Kimani Vidal, Luther Burden, or Ryan Flournoy and hope for the best. (I could also roll with Allgeier, though I already have Bijan starting in my lineup).
Thanks,
Mike

I would be OK trying Flournoy if nervous about Kincaid. I expect Kincaid to play, but pretty steep downgrades to other options if he doesn't.
Ds close, but regardless, Brissett doesn't make Colts look better

Schefter reporting that Bam will start over Michael Carter for Arizona. We had Carter ranked 25th at running back. Logically, you could put Knight about that high... looking at the rankings, I'd say around 31st, behind starters like Walker and Kamara, ahead of guys in clear timeshares. There's been no indication that Carter and Emari Demercado won't also play, so would be optimistic to be thinking you're getting a featured workload from Bam. Just seem likely he's favorite for carries and a short touchdown. With the news, Carter should not be started. Knight should be rostered where available, but I'd leave him on the bench unless I was really desperate
