Games kick off in a few hours, and we've got a few updates on the questionable guys. Sounds like most will be playing, although a couple of big names are still uncertain.
Josh Jacobs (knee, questionable) is the biggest question. The Packers will apparently have him test things out in pregame warmups. To me, that's a decent amount of risk, and I'm leaning toward benching him and taking my chances with the closest available player in the rankings. That said, I would only use Emanuel Wilson if Jacobs is actually inactive.
Aaron Rodgers is the other one. Reportedly, he wants to play but Steelers doctors want to be more careful. Rodgers isn't such a slam dunk great start that I'd use him if I had another viable alternative, which most teams probably do or can find on waivers last minute if need be.
Kenneth Walker (glute) is expected to play, I would use him as ranked.
Alvin Kamara (ankle) is also expected to play. Playing well (he's a starting running back who hasn't scored since Week 1) is less certain.
Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) is expected to play. Not sure if there's any truth to the idea that his agent called him and said, "It's the Bengals, take an adrenaline shot of some sort and suit up."
Chris Godwin (fibula) is expected to play for the Bucs. If you're planning on a starting a wide receiver who we didn't even include in our top 79 at the position and who reportedly will be on a snap count (can we maybe leave terms like "pitch count" to sports that include pitching?), good luck.
Xavier Worthy (ankle) is expected to play for Kansas City.
As always, if I see anything notable between now and the early kickoffs, I'll post in the comments below.
