Few hours until kickoffs, and a few updates on questionable players. Still some uncertainty, however.
Tyler Warren showed up as questionable yesterday due to illness. No further details on that one, but the Colts' excellent rookie tight end is expected to play.
Aaron Rodgers has "several broken bones in his left wrist", according to Ian Rapoport. That seems like a negative for a quarterback, but Rodgers is playing. Just hope he doesn't get knocked around too much and land on it. I think if you were debating Rodgers and a similarly ranked player, makes sense to go with the other guy.
Weather in Cleveland looks poor. High winds were expected, factored into the Friday update, and it's currently raining. I mentioned yesterday I didn't want much to do with either passing game, and that's still the case. George Kittle sure, Jauan Jennings and the Cleveland pass catchers not so much. Should be lots more running than passing in this one.
Chris Olave (back spasms) is expected to play; would use him as ranked.
Marvin Harrison (appendectomy) and Bam Knight (knee) will play for Arizona, according to Rapoport.
Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot) will play. As noted yesterday, I've seen reports that he'd be eased back in (offensive coordinator) and also ones saying it would be a hot hand backfield and Irving would get as much as he can handle (head coach). So there's risk with either starting or benching Irving. I'm using him in one league and not in another, personally.
The Titans should have both of their questionable receivers, Elic Ayomanor and Chig Okonkwo, according to Adam Schefter. It's a lesser offense and I'm not eager to use either, but it takes some of the shine off using Chimere Dike and their other TE, Gunnar Helm. (We were assuming those guys were playing in the Friday update.)
As always, will post in the comments below if I see any updates of note before the early kickoffs.
