It's Sunday morning, and there are a few uncertain injury situations. Most notably, the Green Bay backfield.
Josh Jacobs (knee) is questionable. So, unfortunately, is backup Emanuel Wilson (illness). The Packers elevated Pierre Strong from the practice squad, just in case (they also have Chris Brooks, who presumably would start if the top 2 are both out). Ian Rapoport believes both Jacobs and Wilson will be active, and I do too for whatever it's worth, but (in my opinion), it's risky to use either one unless the other one isn't active. In a general sense, if Jacobs is active, I would use him as ranked on Friday. If he's inactive, and Wilson is active, I'm willing to use him (illness, bah). But there's some risk. And it's a late afternoon game, so you may need to make decisions before knowing for sure which Packers running backs will be available.
Christian McCaffrey (back) was added to the injury report on Saturday. A little troubling, but sounds like it's precautionary. I would not hesitate to use McCaffrey.
The Bears think Rome Odunze (foot) will be able to play today. I have zero interest in Odunze, but his return makes the other Bears wideouts less appealing, as well.
Davante Adams (hamstring) expected to play.
Chris Rodriguez (groin) is a gametime decision for the Commanders. Hard pass on starting Rodriguez. If he's inactive, I'd consider Jacory Croskey-Merritt about where Rodriguez is ranked (pretty low).
Philip Rivers will start today.
If I see any other noteworthy developments this morning, I'll post in the comments below.
