A few months back when I saw Damien Williams being selected in the third round of way too early fantasy drafts, I thought it was too soon. More recently, it's looked about right. And now, with him being drafted in the second round a little more often, I'm thinking that's even more appropriate. Depending on where in the round, I'm wondering if it's soon enough.  more »

Great expectations for RB Damien Williams

Kansas City running back DAMIEN WILLIAMS will be the starter in the backfield in 2019, and with that role comes lofty expectations. Williams had a breakout season in 2018, and this year there will be no KAREEM HUNT, SPENCER WARE, or CHARCANDRICK WEST in town.

Factoid: Damien Williams

I saw a blurb go by last week where Eric Bieniemy (the offensive coordinator in Kansas City) was saying that he considers Damien Williams to be the team’s starting running back. Williams to me looks like a key player in drafts – possibly top-5 back, but there’s that worry about blowing an early pick on a player with a very limited track record.  more »
