Chargers WR Williams out for season with torn ACL

The Los Angeles Chargers will be without wide receiver MIKE WILLIAMS for the remainder of the season due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Williams was injuredMore after making a catch late in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. An MRI scan on Williams’ left knee revealed the extent of the injury. Chargers WR Johnston slipping down depth chart?

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver QUENTIN JOHNSTON has reportedly slid to fourth on the depth chart behind fellow wideouts KEENAN ALLEN, MIKE WILLIAMS, and JOSHUA PALMER. The Chargers drafted JohnstonMore with the 21st overall pick hoping he could become a big play threat in Kellen Moore’s offense. Chargers WR Palmer continues strong preseason

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver JOSHUA PALMER is in line to be the third wideout on the depth chart, and his strong preseason continued in Saturday’s exhibition game against the DallasMore Cowboys. The second year wideout hauled in three catches for 75 yards, including a nice 18-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Palmer provided a bright spot in an otherwise uninspiring effort from the Chargers offense. Palmer had 33 catches for 353 yards and 4 touchdowns as a rookie and he may just be getting started. Less
