The Jacksonville Jaguars have had their issues for most of the last decade (they’ve lost double-digit games in eight of the last nine years). But don’t try to pin the blame on Josh Lambo.

Lambo quietly has been one of the best kickers in the league. He’s accurate, and he’s got good range.

From long range, Lambo has been the best in the league in recent years. He’s hit 10 of his 11 field goals from at least 50 yards over the last three years – by far the best among those who’ve attempted at least 10 from that range.

I’m not sure if the Jaguars can put enough other pieces around him this year. It’s early in the offseason process. But if the rest of the roster does it job, Lambo is capable of being a high-end kicker.
