Made a dynasty trade for Tyler Lockett yesterday. I had depth at running back, so I dealt away Kareem Hunt and some draft positioning for Lockett. Perhaps a year from now Hunt is a three-down feature back for some team, but I'm pretty sure Lockett will be better in 2020, and pretty good for the next several years.

As is, I think he's underrated. He's coming off his first 1,000-yard season, but he's been the main man in Seattle's passing game for a couple of years now. And there's a chemistry between him and Russell Wilson that's about the best in the league.

Over the last two seasons, Lockett has caught 77 percent of the passes thrown his way. Among wideouts with at least 100 targets, only Michael Thomas has been better. And Thomas is running shorter routes, averaging 11.4 yards per reception. Lockett's up at 14.5 -- more than all but three players with that many catches (Tyreek Hill and the two Tampa Bay wideouts).

Lockett snuck into the top 10 in our wide receiver rankings, indicating he'll probably be on a lot of Fantasy Index teams. He was just the 23rd wideout selected in our Experts Draft, and 21st in a draft I wrote about here last week. He's not a particularly sexy pick, as we concede in the magazine -- top-10 is probably his ceiling.

But I'm pretty pleased to be sending him out as one of my top 2 wideouts this season. As long as he's there and Russell Wilson is there, he should be a very nice starter.
