Zack Moss inactive

Fire up Singletary, if you can

Bills rookie running back Zack Moss missed last week's game with a toe injury, freeing up Devin Singletary for a full-time role (and over 120 total yards). Moss returned to practice this week, so it seemed like he'd be available in Week 4.

But Moss has showed up on the inactives list for Sunday's late afternoon games. That makes Singletary again look like a full-time player, and possible top-1o running back. (That's where he was Wednesday, when Moss looked unlikely to play.) If you can find lineup room for Singletary, and bench a guy not as promising whose game hasn't started yet, good time to get him into a lineup.

A couple of concerning elements from the early games:

  • Nick Chubb suffered a knee injury and will not return for the Browns.

  • Austin Ekeler suffered a hamstring injury for the Chargers. He's also out and not expected to return.

  • Jordan Akins was having a decent game for Houston (3 for 46) but suffered a concussion on a hit from Vikings safety Harrison Smith (who was ejected); he's out for the game.
