It's Sunday morning, and hopefully you were starting not facing Josh Allen, facing not starting Aaron Rodgers yesterday. Injury news from the national beat guys are drifting in, here are the notable ones.

  • Ezekiel Elliott is INACTIVE. Tony Pollard should play pretty close to full-time, and is well worth a start. Our Friday Update shows where Pollard would rank "if Zeke out," which he is.

  • DeVante Parker (hamstring) and Mike Gesicki are both inactive for the Dolphins today. Jakeem Grant, too. All this helps the PPR appeal of Lynn Bowden -- a running back in most fantasy leagues, but the Dolphins are using him as a wide receiver. Mack Hollins is the other desperation wideout to consider.

  • Chase Edmonds (ankle) should play but be limited. Free advice, don't start Edmonds.

  • Jacksonville doesn't have a punter on its roster, with the regular starter ruled out. They'll be going for it all the time on fourth down? Kicker Aldrick Rosas will apparently handle punting duties. Another reason to have interest in the Baltimore defense, as their could be some special teams breakdowns.

  • The Patriots won't have Damien Harris, but they should have James White (foot), and Sony Michel will start. A usually cluttered backfield will be a bit more streamlined this week. J.J. Taylor, though, is active, he'll get some snaps.

  • Matthew Stafford (ribs) is expected to start for the Lions.
