Every Saturday morning, I'll take a quick look at all the week's games, offering my own brief take on what I think will happen, as well as touching on significant injury news since our Weekly came out. I'll check in every so often over the course of the day to answer lineup questions, too.

What follows is a brief look at all the games with how I'd react in my own lineups to injury developments or other news. The official rankings are the ones in the Weekly. Those take precedence. But sometimes players are very close, and in those cases I'm glad to offer opinions on how I'd approach those situations. Sometimes I like certain players more or less than Ian, and sometimes I have different risk tolerance with injuries etc. If I don't get to your question, either I missed it (it happens) or the rankings are very clear.

Panthers at Giants: The Giants have a bunch of guys out and a bunch of other ones questionable. I'd love to use Sterling Shepard, who was the best last-minute start I've ever made last week, but he apparently aggravated his hamstring injury in practice this week and is questionable. A little risky for me so I'm leaning sitting him down. Similar situation for Darius Slayton. What should have been a McCaffrey-Barkley tilt is instead a Hubbard-Booker one. Not as enticing, but both guys are starters in most leagues. Evan Engram also questionable, and has shown way less upside this season.

Jets at Patriots: New York's offense couldn't possibly be as bad as it was when these teams played earlier in the season, but it's difficult to start any of their players based on how bad that went. For New England, Damien Harris looks good and Rhamondre Stevenson one of the better No. 2 options around the league in what should be a run-based win. Jakobi Meyers is in a lineup of mine (bye week woes), but I went with other QB options over Mac Jones.

Kansas City at Titans: Kansas City can't stop anyone and Derrick Henry is having that rare MVP running back type of season. I don't think much of Tennessee's defense, either. Tyreek Hill is banged-up but I don't think anyone in good conscience can sit down Hill. Lots of good starters in what should be a higher-scoring game. Which is not news: Kansas City has played five straight games in which at least 54 points have been scored. A.J. Brown and Julio Jones are both playing.

Football Team at Packers: Washington had some injury questions during the week, but Antonio Gibson is apparently playing, and Terry McLaurin and Ricky Seals-Jones are both off the injury report. Green Bay didn't activate Marquez Valdes-Scantling this week so he won't be around to take a zero in your lineups. Rodgers, Adams and Aaron Jones all look good, and maybe even Robert Tonyan given the way Washington's defense has been bleeding points. No Curtis Samuel, but I don't really see a viable No. 2 WR in this offense.

Falcons at Dolphins: I've gone back and forth on whether to start Garoppolo or Tagovailoa as a fill-in with quarterbacks Prescott and Cousins on byes. I'm still going back and forth. Dolphins face the worse defense, Garopp0lo has done a little more at times, wind and rain might be a factor in San Francisco. I'll probably go Tua, and wish I'd picked up a bye-week quarterback a little sooner. Miami might have DeVante Parker. Both offenses look pretty good. Cordarrelle Patterson: If you ask me any questions involving him he's probably going to be the choice. Why fight it.

Bengals at Ravens: I respect the Bengals, but tough situation for them here. What Baltimore did to the Chargers offense last week is pretty impressive. I'd be using Joe Mixon and JaMarr Chase, but not feeling great about either. Baltimore's defense hasn't been that great in every game, so I can't just dismiss guys like Burrow and Higgins, but am wary. For Baltimore, didn't think I'd be saying this but yes, I'd use Devonta Freeman, as the rankings suggest and probably over a couple of guys he's just behind (e.g., I trust Freeman to get more work than Myles Gaskin in Miami). Lamar, Andrews and Marquise look good.

Eagles at Raiders: Probably a higher-scoring game. Fine with key starters on both teams, though there aren't that many -- the quarterbacks, the starting tight ends, the No. 1 wide receivers. Jacobs and to a slightly lesser extent Miles Sanders.

Lions at Rams: This is the first of what look like three blowout types of games in the late spot. Survivor Pool participants, these are the games you should be targeting. I'm wary of the Rams personally because they bounced me last year by losing at home to the lowly Jets, but they should take care of business here, with Stafford and Henderson and company putting up big numbers. For the Lions, Swift and Hockenson look like the options.

Texans at Cardinals: It was behind a paywall so I didn't get to read all of it, but there was an interesting feature on David Johnson this week, talking about the trade that sent him to Houston for DeAndre Hopkins. Most of the focus here is on Hopkins facing his former team, in part because Houston is using this ridiculous four-back committee. Cardinals should put up huge numbers and I'm on board with virtually all of their key starters. Houston options: Brandin Cooks.

Bears at Buccaneers: Chicago's defense has played well all year, but I can't really downgrade an offense playing as well as Tampa Bay's. No Antonio Brown and I'd be avoiding the tight ends, too, but otherwise I'm starting the starters. Would take a flier on Tyler Johnson in deeper leagues. For Chicago, er, probably need to use Khalil Herbert in a league or two, and with the team almost certain to be passing more than usual, can maybe thinking about the main receivers. But Justin Fields hasn't shown he can do it, making them risky options.

Indianapolis at San Francisco: So Wentz and Garoppolo are options for those in need of a quarterback, but I think both are risky. Weather might be a factor, defenses have some ability, and they're somewhat unreliable quarterback in general. I doubt T.Y. Hilton plays, and if he does he might be limited. Deebo looks good though, and Michael Pittman (especially if Hilton inactive). At running back, Mitchell should start for San Francisco, and he's the one I'd use, though I am stashing JaMycal Hasty in a league or two.

New Orleans at Seattle: Interesting Monday night game. I don't expect Alex Collins will play, putting Rashaad Penny in the discussion as a possible starter, though he's Penny, and he'll probably pick up an injury during the game, and the matchup isn't great. DeeJay Dallas a possibility on third downs and maybe more. Seattle's defense is bad and I might actually be using Marquez Callaway (in the league I'm sitting Shepard). Alvin Kamara should dominate, shame that I'm facing him. Jameis Winston is viable given the matchup. Geno Smith isn't, but I'd chance DK Metcalf and might have to use Lockett somewhere, not with enthusiasm.

Enjoy the games.
