There’s just over a week left in the regular season. So just over a week left for those in dynasty leagues to make their final player acquisitions before rosters lock for the offseason. With that in mind, let’s take a final look at the top 80 wide receivers for such leagues.

The rankings here assume PPR scoring and operate under the assumption that franchises can hold the rights to players indefinitely. So there’s an effort to strike a balance between what a player is right now and what he might be doing a few years from now. The age of the player is important (if you’ve got a 23-year-old who’s almost as good as a 29-year-old, you would take the younger guy).

Some effort also needs to be made to factor in the reality that teams change rapidly, with new coaches, new offenses and new quarterbacks. And a bunch of these guys will be playing for different teams (on the chart below, players who are currently scheduled to become free agents in a few months are tagged with black dots).

Allen Robinson is one of those guys. He was a complete disaster this year, but he caught 98 and 102 passes in his previous two seasons and is only 28 years old. It will be interesting to see where he lands, and how much a team is willing to pay to get him. I’m operating under the assumption that whatever teams signs Robinson will do so with the thinking he’ll be a starter but not their leading receiver (I’ve got him at 50th on this list).

I’ve got Antonio Brown one spot behind Robinson. In terms of on-field talent, Brown might still be a top-20 receiver, but he’s 33 and has had a ton of off-field issues. (Are the Bucs going to re-sign him?)

Anyway, below is my stab at it. If you see a player you believe is ranked too high or too low, feel free to mention in the comments section.

Throughout the regular reason, I’ve been switching the focus to dynasty leagues each Saturday, rotating through the four notable positions. To look at previous installments, use the “past issues” navigation box on this page.

Last week: tight ends
