There seems to be three big-time offenses in the league right now: Buffalo, Kansas City and Philadelphia. Of those three, one has a decided edge in terms of scheduling.
The Bills, based on how defenses have played thus far, have an upcoming schedule that’s far more favorable.
Below see a chart showing the average points allowed by the next 10 opponents for each team. Buffalo’s have allowed an average of 23.6 points – the most of everyone in the league.
Kansas City and Philadelphia, meanwhile, have schedules that rank among the bottom half-dozen in the league, down closer to 20 points per week.
The bottom team overall are the Lions, who thus far have had the league’s most surprising offense. Their schedule indicates there should be some dropoff in the weeks to come.
